Description:

In February of this year, I had some financial and diplomatic setbacks and had to return to Panama to deal with the necessary paperwork. Shortly after my return, the first cases Covid-19 hit the country and Panama has been on lockdown since. As stressful and unexpected of a time this has been, it has truly been a time where I have been able to truly search the Lord's heart out and examine my own. The Lord has made it very clear throughout this quarantine that he is not done with me in Columbia. There is still so much more work to be done. My training (education) and my application (ministry and social contributions) even in the midst of this new normal are far from done. The Lord in his mercies has fully provided for the sum of what was needed so that I can register for this school year and finish my last year of my MA, but there is still quite a bit left to raise. The Lord has made me greatly passionate about community and using my passions for soccer to use that as an instrument of my faith and to use that for the betterment of my community. Serving with college students at my church and serving on leadership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes in Columbia, the Lord has truly blessed me with not only a community that challenges me to grow for my good, but whom is also passionate about partnering with me in what God has called me to in Columbia. The total sum I am raising covers for the remaining expenses I have in order to finish my degree at CIU. I can confidently say that all the tools I am learning inside of a classroom are so applicable to my everyday life, especially as it pertains to the ministries I am a part of. Learn about different cultures, but far beyond that, God's heart for each and every culture and how he speaks so uniquely to each one, and the role we play in all of that narrative is such a beautiful thing to me and something I am so passionate about. I want to thank you first and foremost for taking the time to read about what God has been doing in my life and through my life. Far beyond any financial support that can be helped with, I ask for your support through prayer. I believe that we are so prone to undermine the power that exists when we pray for one another, and it is such an essential part of the mission God has called us into. With the current circumstances our of our world, I understand that not everybody is in a place to give, but know that any contributions mean the world to me, both financially and through prayer. Whatever your case may be, I just want to express my gratitude to you for joining me as I continue on the joy of this journey God has called me to.

Mission Statement:

I believe that he has purposefully placed me in Columbia, South Carolina to use my talents, gifts, and passions as it pertains primarily to sports to use that as an instrument of my faith, where I will contribute to the advancement of God's Kingdom through the sharing of the Gospel and through connecting people together through Christ centered communities.
