An older individual who is attempting to repair his home enough in order to be able to obtain home owners insurance again. Because of some roof damage and foundation problems I am not able to obtain home owners insurance and because of this I am in danger of losing my home due to fire or any other catastrophe. I have applied for assistance with county and government agencies but because I don't have home owners insurance they can't help me so I am now stuck in a Catch-22 situation; can't get home owners insurance because I need repairs performed first and can't get repairs because I need home owners insurance.

I just don't know which way to turn for help. I have no family that can help me and I am self employed. I am barely surviving the winter since my attic is totally un-insulated and leaking into the house and causing mold and mildew.

I have always been gainfully employed in my life but have hit some obstacles and unable to work as hard as I used to.

Any amount of money that you can donate would be so appreciated; even just a few dollars because the few dollars add up.
I suffer from depression and an anxiety disorder and this situation just makes it so much more difficult for me to survive.
