BIG NEWS! I will be serving at one of International Justice Mission's field office in South Asia! I'm so excited about being a part of something that's larger-than-life, and I would like to invite you to join me on this journey to the West. Well, it is certainly the East of the United States, but it's the West of China. (FUN FACT - Journey to the West is one of the Four Great Classical Novels of China. You might familiar with the main character - Monkey King.) In case I haven't gotten a chance to introduce you to the International Justice Mission, IJM is an international human rights NGO (non-governmental organization) that takes the spearhead in addressing the issues that include but not limited to human trafficking and modern-day slavery. I had the privilege of interning at their HQ in D.C. in Spring 2017, so CONTACT ME IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO LEARN MORE! (Reach me at [email protected] and let's talk!) It is truly an organization that's more awesome than it looks on its websites. (I mean, their website is pretty awesome. BUT, if you talk to me, you get to hear my emotions as well!) I started a fundraiser on Continue to Give to raise the funding that I need for the mission. I have a one-time single donations goal of $2000 that will go towards the initial cost of the mission, such as costs include flight tickets and insurance, and also a recurring donations goal of $1300 per month for that will help to sustain me while I serve for 10 - 12 months at the field office.
