COICOM stands for the Ibero-American Confederation of Christian Communicators, Pastors and Leaders. It serves Latin America with a Vision of "The Spiritual Transformation of the Spanish Speaking World." A core strategy of COICOM is an annual convention that is held in a different Latin American country each year. This year two regional conferences are planned, one for Colombia and one for the Dominican Republic, with an estimated attendance of 1,000 each. These events are platforms for training, equipping, networking and mission mobilization. COICOM has been training pastors leaders and media professionals since 1992. Some gather annually as the event moves from country to country. Many local pastors cannot afford the modest cost of the event, so COICOM raises money to allow them to attend at no cost.
